The Faculty of Business and Law brings together Manchester Metropolitan University’s Business School and the Manchester Law School in an award-winning building in the centre of the city. Role
These positions provide an excellent opportunity to further your academic career in a key leadership role. You will provide academic leadership to one of the following departments: HRM, Leadership and Sport; Strategy and Enterprise; Marketing and Retail; Operations and Technology; Economics and International Business. The term as head of department will be for 4 years, with the possibility of extension subject to mutual agreement. At the end of their tenure as head of department, the successful candidates will move to a Professorial or other senior academic role within the Faculty.

Ideal Candidate
Qualified at doctoral level, you will bring a proven record of academic leadership and management, including programme development, innovative teaching and impactful research. You must be able to demonstrate outstanding leadership skills that engender high performance across your team in order to meet the departmental KPIs for research, for education, for international and for knowledge exchange.
