16:30 – 18:00 | Plenary I - Local Input Teaching Entrepreneurship Beyond the Classroom: The New Role of a Business School in the Startup Ecosystem Aim: Understanding the context of our host school in today’s economic situation,and how they are using entrepreneurship as strategy for growth. One of Politecnico di Milano’s strengths is its connection with companies of any size, from the beginning of the start-up phase. In this particular moment of economic crisis, more and more students and alumni wish to run their own business. The School of Management is therefore offering increasing opportunities linked to this topic, such as: - EMBA and MBA programs have a stream in entrepreneurship; - Within the Start-up & Entrepreneurship Academy, the “start-up programme” is dedicated to those who have just started their new activity or would like to launch one in the near future; - Polihub is an incubator of Politecnico di Milano launched together with Milano municipality, focusing on technology new-based venture.

Following the presentation, a panel discussion will take place: several entrepreneurs who studied at Politecnico di Milano will share their success stories and participate to the debate, in order to understand how business schools can favor and support entrepreneurship

How to reach the Hotel:
Arriving at Malpensa Airport
- By taxi: 40-minute
- By train: take the see the Ferrovie Nord map ride to Cadorna Station (30-minutes, 11€). Visitors can reach the hotel from Cadorna in less than 10 minutes by taxi
- By car: Exit the motorway at Via Stephenson/Sacco. After 300 meter turn left. Turn right at the traffic light and drive for one kilometer. At Villapizzone Street you will see the hotel on the right.
- By taxi: 25 minutes.
- By public Transport: Take Bus 73 to S. Babila Square (departures every 10 minutes, ticket pricing 1,5 €). Then the underground Red Line (M1) to Sesto/Rho for two stops. Get off at Porta Venezia and take the S5 line toward Varese for four stops (see the Ferrovie Nord map). Get off at Villapizzone Station (you can use the same ticket from the Airport to Villapizzone station). The hotel is a five-minute walk from Villapizzone Station.
- By taxi: will take 15 minutes
- By public transport: Take the underground line towards Repubblica (yellow one) (see the Ferrovie Nord map) then change and take the S5 line toward Varese. After three stops reach the Villapizzone Station (ticket 1,5 €). The hotel is only a five-minute walk from this point.

- By bus: Malpensa Shuttle, via Teodorico stop and then 10 minutes walking.
- By train: take the see the Ferrovie Nord map ride to Cadorna Station (30-minutes, 11€). Form Cadorna take tram line 1 to the Hotel (tram ticket 1,5 €).
- By taxi: 1hour; 90 € (see taxi_ok-web)
- By public transport: Take Bus 73 to S. Babila Square (departures every 10 minutes, ticket pricing 1,5 €), then take the tram 1 (you can use the same ticket).

Cancellations must be confirmed in writing. Thereafter, we regret that we are unable to refund any fees. However, in such cases substitutes are welcome at no extra cost as long as EFMD receives notification of the name, title and address of the substitute.
