These Seminars are offered sequentially, giving participants the opportunity to register for one or both events.

EPAS Accreditation Seminar (28 March 13:30 - 29 March 14:00)
Theme
- Interpretation and practical application of the Standards and Criteria
- Understanding the key stages of the accreditation processes
- Preparing a good Datasheet, Self-Assessment Report and effective Peer Review Visit
- Presentation of the EQUIS & EPAS documents
Target group
The seminars are targeted at institutions considering applying for EQUIS or EPAS accreditation and those holding active eligibility wishing to get a better understanding about the system. They allow for an in-depth preparation of the application phase. They will be relevant for Deans and Directors, Associate Deans, Directors of major programmes, Directors of External Relations and Accreditation Officers. Peer Reviewers are encouraged to attend as well, in order to receive an update on the most recent developments within the EFMD accreditations.

Fees for participation in one Seminar (EQUIS or EPAS).

Fees cover attendance to the Seminar, documentation, meals and refreshments, but do NOT include hotel accommodation. Hotel fees are to be paid to the different hotels upon departure (please refer to the Hotel Information Section below for more details)
Cancellations must be confirmed in writing. If we receive notice of your withdrawal before 6 March 2017, a cancellation administrative fee of 75,00 € will be charged. Thereafter, we regret that we are unable to refund any fees. However, in such cases, substitutes are welcome at no extra cost as long as EFMD receives notification of the name, title and address of the substitute.
Accommodation is not included in the Seminar participation fee.

Please note that during March 24-27 the Atton will book at the rate of 269 +taxes and then honor the regular corporate rate of 179 +taxes in the following days due to an event in the city at the time which caused an increase in the corporate rate for the above mentioned days.
The Atton Brickell Miami is about a 8-10 minute walk from the seminar venue.
In order to book please call 786-725-3218 or 786-600-2600. You must state that you are booking under Adolfo Ibañez University in order to get the rate above and provide a credit card at time of reservation.
Do feel free to reserve space at a hotel of your choice if would prefer another location and also feel free to stay on the beach if you would like - we understand if you would like to see as much of the city as you can while you are visiting! However, please be aware however that you will be personally responsible for your transportation costs and that we cannot provide a preferential rate for your stay at another hotel if it is not the one we are able to secure a rate with.
The Miami International Airport (MIA) is approximately a 20-minute drive away from downtown – it can be up to 30 or 40 depending on traffic.
- Shuttle: Hotels downtown do not usually offer a shuttle to the airport.
- Taxi: The easiest way to get from the airport downtown is by taxi, the average rate being $35 with moderate traffic. For more economical methods of transport you can also consider Super Shuttle and Uber.
- City Bus: The commute by public transportation, using the Miami-Dade Transit system, from the airport to the hotel will take about an hour, one-passage fare of $2,25; day passes for $5,65. All trip options have at least two transfers; please consult Google Maps for possible trip options. Please visit the Miami-Dade Transit system website for more information.
