INDIVIDUAL CANCELLATION POLICY:
Cancellations must be confirmed in writing. If MCI EFMD Registration and Housing Office receives notice of your withdrawal before 01 April 2016, a cancellation administrative fee of 75€ (+ 21 % of Dutch VAT) will be charged. Thereafter, we regret that we are unable to refund any fees. However, in such cases substitutes are welcome at no extra cost as long as EFMD receives notification of the name, title and address of the substitute.

5. Accommodation Top

Please note that exceptionally for this conference EFMD has changed the hotel booking procedure. Indeed, hotel booking prices and general conditions (cancellation conditions, etc.) are much better on an individual bases and as there are many hotels in Rotterdam we thought this would be easier and better for everyone. You find here a list of recommended hotels.

 
6. Direction Top

By train
Rotterdam, can be easily reached by train. There is a fast-train Thalys connection from Brussels, via Antwerp to Rotterdam (1 hour 10 minutes; reservation mandatory, see www.thalys.com). Alternatively, there is the intercity connection also from Brussels to Rotterdam, which takes longer (a little over two hours; see https://www.nsinternational.nl/en).
Coming from Germany, you will have to change trains at Utrecht Central Station, and take a local intercity train to Rotterdam (approximately 40 minutes, cost around 10 Euro one way).
From Schiphol Airport Amsterdam to Rotterdam You can take to Rotterdam Centraal Station. The trip will take approximately 50 minutes by regular train, or 27 minutes by high speed train Intercity Direct.
From The Hague Airport – Rotterdam, there are limited flights operating to and from Rotterdam From there you can take a taxi or the shuttlebus 33 in front of the arrivals hall to Rotterdam Central Station (approx. 25 minutes) and will cost approx. 3,50 Euro.

By Public Transport
When travelling by public transport in the city of Rotterdam, the use of an OV-chipcard is mandatory. For more information on the OV-chipcard, as well as maps and time tables, visit the website of the RET.
Metro
To accesss the conference venue exit the metro at, 'Kralingse Zoom (Erasmus Universiteit).'When exiting the station, facing the main road, Erasmus University is directly across the road. The walk from the station to the conference venue will take another 10-15 minutes across campus. Plan you jourey here.
Tram
You can take tram number 7 to 'Erasmus Universiteit (Woudestein)', you should exit at the final stop 'Erasmus Universiteit (Woudestein)' in front of the university’s main entrance.
