“Engaging People to Drive Business Performance ”

Description
Three high impact focus areas are presented, each with practical insights and concrete recommendations. A holistic view on engagement expands the perspective beyond conventional, purely survey-based engagement practices.

  • How to make engagement a business priority?
To direct the necessary attention towards employee engagement it needs to be part of the C-level agenda. Engagement practitioners are well advised to connect their topic with high profile business challenges like productivity, innovation or post-merger integration to demonstrate relevance and create momentum. We discuss how to do this.
  • How to manage engagement smartly?
Particularly in multi-national organizations, it is vital to find the right balance between central orchestration and local autonomy in implementing actions to improve engagement. We present approaches how this can be done successfully.
  • How to drive up engagement?
While there is a wide variety of factors driving employee engagement there is one common denominator and decisive factor: the enrollment of managers at all levels. We share the strategies that worked in our member organizations.

To round up our assessment we will conclude with an outlook to key trends and promising innovations in enhancing employee engagement to drive performance.
