These Seminars are offered sequentially, giving participants the opportunity to register for one or both events.

Theme

  • Interpretation and practical application of the Standards and Criteria
  • Understanding the key stages of the accreditation processes
  • Preparing an effective Self-Assessment Report and Peer Review Visit
  • Presentation of the EQUIS & EPAS documents

Target group
The seminars are targeted at institutions considering applying for EQUIS or EPAS accreditation, those holding active eligibility or accredited schools wishing to get a better understanding about the system. They will be relevant for Deans and Directors, Associate Deans, Directors of major programmes, Directors of External Relations and Accreditation Officers. Peer Reviewers are encouraged to attend as well, in order to receive an update on the most recent developments within the EFMD accreditations.

2. Fees and paymentTop
  • one seminar: EQUIS Accreditation Seminar or EPAS Accreditation Seminar
    • 500€ FULL members of EFMD
    • 600€ AFFILIATED members of EFMD
    • 700€ non members of EFMD
  • two seminars: EQUIS Accreditation Seminar AND EPAS Accreditation Seminar
    • 750€ FULL members of EFMD
    • 900€ AFFILIATED members of EFMD
    • 1050€ non members of EFMD

Fees cover attendance to the seminar(s), documentation, meals and refreshments, but do NOT include hotel accommodation. Hotel fees are to be paid to the different hotels upon departure (please refer to the Hotel Information Section below for more details)

Cancellation Policy for fees
Cancellations must be confirmed in writing. If we receive notice of your withdrawal before 7 October 2014, a cancellation administrative fee of 75,00€ will be charged. Thereafter, we regret that we are unable to refund any fees. However, in such cases, substitutes are welcome at no extra cost as long as EFMD receives notification of the name, title and address of the substitute.

Networking dinners on Monday, 13 October 2014 and Tuesday, 14 October 2014

Participants who register for the EQUIS Accreditation Seminar are invited to the networking dinner at 7:30 pm on Monday, 13 October 2014. Location: Belvedere Restaurant.

Participants who register for the EPAS Accreditation Seminar are invited to join the networking dinner at 7:30 pm on Tuesday, 14 October 2014. Location: Ognisko Restaurant.

Participants who register to attend both Seminars are invited for both dinners.

Directions and travel times

By air
From Heathrow Airport
Take the Heathrow Express (overland train) to London Paddington Station (trains run every 15 minutes, journey duration approximately 15 minutes) and change there for the Circle Line eastbound (underground) to South Kensington station, or
 take the Piccadilly Line (underground train) from Heathrow to South Kensington underground station (40 minutes travelling time).
From Gatwick Airport
Take the Gatwick Express (overland train) to London Victoria Station (trains run about every 15 minutes, journey duration approximately 30 minutes) and change there for the Circle or District Line westbound (underground) to South Kensington station.
From Stansted Airport
Take the Stansted Express to Liverpool Street station (trains run every 15 minutes and the journey lasts about 45 minutes). From there, take the Circle Line westbound to Holborn underground station. Take the Piccadilly Line from Holborn to South Kensington station (journey time about 25 minutes).

By Bus
These buses travel near to Imperial College:
9, 10 or 52 to the Royal Albert Hall, north of the College
74 or 14 to the Victoria and Albert Museum, south of the College
49 to Gloucester Road, south-west of the College
45A or C1 to South Kensington, south of the College
70 to Queens Gate, west of the College

By Car
Car parking at the College is strictly limited, and participants are advised not to bring a car into College campus. Please note that the South Kensington Campus is within the London congestion charge. For full details please contact Transport for London.

By Underground Train
Take the Piccadilly, Circle or District line to South Kensington station and walk north to the college.
Alternatively, Imperial College is approximately 15 minutes’ walk from High Street Kensington and 8-10 minutes from Gloucester Road
(both on the Circle and District Lines).
From South Kensington Tube Station
On arrival at South Kensington underground station, turn right after passing through the exit barriers and descend into the tunnel walkway.
Follow the tunnel all the way to the end and take the steps up to the road. Turn left out of the tunnel and walk down Exhibition Road. Imperial College Business School is on your left-hand side.
From High Street Kensington Tube Station
On arrival at High Street Kensington underground station, walk through the shopping centre out on to the main road (High Street Kensington). Turn right and walk along the main street for 10-15 minutes. After you have passed the Albert Memorial on your left and the Royal Albert Hall on your right you should turn right down Exhibition Road. Imperial College Business School is on your right-hand side.
From Gloucester Road Tube Station
On arrival at Gloucester Road underground station, turn left out of the station onto Gloucester Road and walk up to the traffic lights. Turn right at the lights and walk along Cromwell Road for 4-5 minutes. After you have passed the Natural History Museum on your left-hand side, turn left onto Exhibition Road. Walk up Exhibition Road for approximately 3 minutes. Imperial College Business School is on your left-hand side.
