The General Management Programme is the dynamic and innovative programme resulting from the successful three way partnership between the MAN Group, WHU and Oxford Said Business School. The programme’s ongoing success is characterised by a continuously evolving programme content delivered to support and develop the company and management strategy. Coupling world class academic lecturers with key and senior management personnel from MAN has given this bespoke programme the edge.

Tatjana Thiel
Head of Management Development, MAN SE.
Since 2007 Tatjana Thiel has worked with MAN SE as their Head of Management Development as well as Managing Director of the MAN Scholarship Programme. She is responsible for Talent Management and Leadership Development.
After finishing her studies in Business Psychology in Moscow, Russia and Bochum, Germany, she worked for several leading international companies in various human resources and marketing functions.

Lutz Kaufmann
Academic Director of the WHU Executive Development Programs
Dr. Kaufmann is professor and chair of International Business & Supply Management at WHU and an Associate Fellow of Said Business School at the University of Oxford.
He is also the academic director of WHU’s Executive Development Programs and was a visiting professor at CEIBS (China Europe International Business School), in Shanghai, China. He is the European Editor of the Journal of Supply Chain Man­agement (JSCM).
He teaches in many executive programs, both at WHU and in numerous in­dividual companies. His consulting and teaching activities bring him in touch with execu­tives from around the world.

Gerd Islei
Fellow in Information Management, Oxford Saïd Business School.
A noted expert in the fields of information management, decision support and the effective performance of supply chains, Dr. Islei directs and teaches a range of advanced executive development programmes. He is also designing and directing the School’s new Diploma in Advanced Strategy and Innovation.
Among Dr Islei’s many publications are Managing Information Technology as a Strategic Resource and Improving Decision Making in Organisations.
