Theme

  • Interpretation and practical application of the Standards and Criteria
  • Understanding the key stages of the accreditation processes
  • Preparing a good Datasheet, Self-Assessment Report and effective Peer Review Visit
  • Presentation of the EQUIS & EPAS documents

Target group
The seminars are targeted at institutions considering applying for EQUIS or EPAS accreditation and those holding active eligibility wishing to get a better understanding of the system. They allow for a comprehensive understanding of the Quality Standards & Criteria and preparation of the application process. They will be relevant for Deans and Directors, Associate Deans, Directors of major programmes, Directors of External Relations and Accreditation Officers. Peer Reviewers are encouraged to attend as well, in order to receive an update on the most recent developments within the EFMD accreditations.

  • Fees for participation in one Seminar (EQUIS or EPAS)
    • €750 FULL members of EFMD
    • €850 AFFILIATED members of EFMD
    • €950 Non-members of EFMD
  • Fees for participation in both Seminars (EQUIS and EPAS)
    • €1125 FULL members of EFMD
    • €1275 AFFILIATED members of EFMD
    • €1425 Non-members of EFMD

Fees cover attendance of the seminar, documentation, meals, and refreshments but do NOT include hotel accommodation and travel expenses.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations must be confirmed in writing. If EFMD receives notice of your withdrawal before 7 May 2018, a cancellation administrative fee of €75 will be charged. Thereafter, we regret that we are unable to refund any fees. However, in such cases substitutes are welcome at no extra cost as long as EFMD receives notification of the name, title and address of the substitute.

Please also note that if we haven't received your payment (or proof of payment) before the participants’ list is printed (14 May 2018), your contact details will not be included in that list.

5. Networking Dinners Top

Participants who register for the EQUIS Accreditation Seminar are invited to join the networking dinner on Monday 21 May 2018 at 19:00.

Participants who register for the EPAS Accreditation Seminar are invited to join the networking dinner on Tuesday 22 May 2018 at 19:00.

Participants who register for both seminars are invited for both dinners.

Details about the dinner venues will be confirmed by email in due time.

 
6. Transportation Top

The Changi Airport Singapore is on average 30-minute drive from the Singapore Management University (depending on the traffic).

Taxi
Taxis are available at the taxi stands at the Arrival levels of each Terminal. A ride to the city takes about 30 minutes and costs between $20 and $40. Fares are metered and there is an additional Airport surcharge for all trips originating from the Airport:

  • $5 Airport surcharge: 5.00pm - midnight (Fri - Sun)
  • $3 Airport surcharge: All other times
  • Midnight surcharge of 50% of final metered fare: midnight - 6.00am
  • Peak hours surcharge of 25% of final metered fare: 6.00am - 9.30am (Mon - Fri) and 6.00pm - midnight (Mon - Sun)

Public Bus
Bus stops are located at the basement bus bays of Terminals 1, 2 and 3. For Terminal 4, the bus stop is located next to Car Park 4B (only services 24, 34, 36 and 110) and near the SATS Inflight Catering Centre 1 (for services 27, 53 and 858). Please prepare the exact fare as no change will be given. Alternatively, a stored-value EZ-Link card for multiple rides can be purchased from any Changi Recommends store or the Changi Airport train station.

Train
The train station is accessible by foot from Terminal 2 or Terminal 3. To get to Terminal 4, board the free 24-hour shuttle bus located at Terminal 2.
To get to the city, transfer to the westbound train at Tanah Merah station. First train to Tanah Merah Station departs Changi Airport Station at 5.31am on Monday to Saturday and at 5.59am on Sunday and public holidays. Last train to Tanah Merah station that connects to the city departs Changi Airport Station at 11.18pm.
