EQUAL is a unique platform where national, regional and international business school associations and quality assurance agencies work together to systematically exchange views and insights into trends, developments, best practices in business and management education. Primary stakeholders being quality assurance agencies, business school associations and business schools, EQUAL’s impact is ultimately geared towards students, employers and policymakers.
To fulfil its mission, EQUAL provides the international business education community with white papers and guidelines. It supports research and projects on a variety of topics concerning advancements in business and management education, and disseminates best practices.

FNEGE
FNEGE - the French Foundation for Management Education (FNEGE) was founded in 1968 to face the gap in the teaching and practice of management in France.
FNEGE initially designed the Business School Impact Survey (BSIS) to determine the extent of a school’s impact upon its local environment – the city or region in which it is located. The BSIS process has been adapted for an international audience and is now offered in a joint venture between EFMD and FNEGE as a service to EFMD members in any part of the world.
Thanks to FNEGE, nearly 300 young students were sent to the best American universities to do a PH.D in Management.
FNEGE was also founded to manage an extensive operation of granting and following-up post-doctoral contracts, making it possible for young French researchers to complete their thesis in foreign universities.
In 1987 FNEGE created the CEFAG (Centre Européen de Formation Approfondie à la Gestion), a European Center for Advanced Training in Management that pioneered a high-level training program for French doctoral students.
FNEGE has organized numerous doctoral seminars and publishing seminars in collaboration with the Schools and Universities.
At the international level, FNEGE has also pioneered joint programs with foreign institutions. Today, it is still responsible for several programs for Master students and doctoral students, in collaboration with some French establishments of higher education.
Finally, every two years FNEGE organizes Les Etats Généraux du Management, a gathering of researchers and corporates aiming at creating knowledge transfer between the academic world and the corporate world.
FNEGE also launched la Revue Française de Gestion, a CNRS ranked journal, which purpose is to ensure that transfer.
