Distinguished Post-Doctoral Fellowship Award on Business and Society - INSEAD

About this job
A research team from the National University of Singapore (NUS), INSEAD, and the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) is jointly looking for candidates for a Distinguished Post-Doctoral Fellowship Award on Business and Society.

Singapore's unique urban environment and institutional features put it at the forefront of innovative public policy research (e.g., in sustainable transportation). The current research team comprises professors in Economics, Psychology, and Business, and works in close consultation with various companies and government agencies.

The initial term of the fellowship is one year, extendable to up to two more years subject to mutual interests. The fellowship offers access to world-class faculties at the three universities, unique data sources, opportunities to conduct large-scale field experiments, and competitive employment terms. The awardee will be based in Singapore. Together with the research team, the awardee is expected to deliver high quality research, in the form of top journal publications, which impacts public policies. The fellowship can serve as an excellent Launchpad for the awardee's future placement to a tenure-track position at a leading research institution.

The ideal candidate should have or be in near completion of a doctoral degree in Economics, Psychology, or Business and possess an excellent academic record.

She/he should have expertise in quantitative research, demonstrate independence and resourcefulness, and be proficient in managing large-scale research projects.

Application:

Submit your CV with a cover letter describing your research experience, motivation and competences to  postdoc.talent@insead.edu

To be considered, you should join:

  • a writing sample (empirical research paper preferred),
  • three recommendation letters
  • a copy of your academic transcript.
Applications will be accepted until the fellowship is awarded.
