The Department of Management of Estonian Business School with campuses in Tallinn (Estonia) and Helsinki (Finland) is seeking applicants for a Lecturer in IT & Digital Technologies beginning of September 1, 2018.

Profile & position

The successful candidate for lecturer will be expected to undertake academic activity in both teaching and research within EBS and demonstrate leadership potential in their area. The lecturer will be expected to be part of a research team and supervise students. The successful candidate has expertise in industry collaboration or/and in consulting activities.

Aside from research, the role will be expected to deliver challenging and innovative teaching at both undergraduate and graduate level, and to assist with the administration of EBS. The position requires practical knowledge and skills in management and implementation of IT and Digital Technology projects, the comprehensive theoretical knowledge and understanding of the IT and Digital Technologies ecosystem. The candidate has an understanding how IT and Digital Technologies will shape future businesses and has experience and view on how to synthesize new technologies and vistas in the digital space with management initiatives for enabling IT business-smart decisions, digital transformations, enhanced customer experiences and offerings.

Salary and contract

The salary is within a range established by Business School regulations. The exact amount will be defined depending on experience and academic qualifications.
