Profile & position

The successful candidate for professorship will be expected to undertake academic leadership in research within EBS and demonstrate leadership potential and skills in order to play a significant role in research projects, including the development of skills and supervision of doctoral candidates and junior faculty. The professor will be expected to build and lead a research team around a key area of research in economics and publish in in high quality, international journals. The candidate must have a broad international network and a proven track record in attracting research funding.

The successful candidate for associate professor will be expected to conduct individual or collaborative research projects leading to publication in high quality, international journals.

Aside from research both roles will be expected to to deliver challenging and innovative teaching at both undergraduate and graduate level, and to assist with the administration of EBS. Candidates with research and teaching interests in any area of economics are encouraged to apply, although applications from specialists in Macroeconomics are particularly sought.

Candidates are expected to have a PhD in Economics, academic publications and teaching experience at university level.

Salary & contract

Salary is negotiable depending on skills and experience. The post will be offered on an indefinite basis.
