A series of highly focused peer-based discussion groups centred on key issues of concern to the community. These workshops draw on the experience gained through the CLIP quality assessment peer reviews. Each workshop is hosted and led by the Chief Learning Officer of a company that has gone through the process and is facilitated by the EFMD CLIP review team leader. The topic usually reflects a point of excellence within the hosting company. Two or three CLOs from other CLIP companies are also invited to contribute additional examples of good practice and to engage in an interactive discussion with the audience. The one-day workshops are highly interactive, with “food for thought” inputs from the hosting company, short descriptions of solutions that work by other panel members, challenging questions, and an opportunity to learn from the accumulated learning within the EFMD community. The workshops will often be kicked off the night before by a keynote speaker on major trends, followed by a dinner and a wonderful opportunity for networking. Upcoming workshop in 2010: Sharing Best Practice CLIP workshop X hosted by ERGO Versicherungsgruppe AG (Düsseldorf, Germany) on 21-22 October 2010 Previous Workshops Sharing Best Practice CLIP workshop IX hosted by CapGemini University (Paris, France) on 25-26 March 2010. Sharing Best Practice CLIP Workshop VII on “Developing Global Leaders”, hosted by Grupo Santander (Madrid, Spain) on 26-27 March 2009
