You will be joining an exceptional team that has expertise in many fields of sport scholarship. We are actively engaged in national and international research relationships and projects, including in particular with the Sport and Recreation Alliance, Manchester City FC and Tokyo 2020. We are delivering an expanding programme of conferences, seminars and training workshops for academic and industry partners, that this year includes the Political Studies Association Sport Special Interest Group 2017 Conference and our own annual Sport Volunteering Conference.

The knowledge generated by these wide-ranging research activities is integrated specifically into our undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral, professional development and executive programmes, ensuring that our students benefit from the work of our research leaders. Our academic programmes currently include the world leading Master of Sport Directorship and undergraduate programmes in sports management, sports Marketing and event management. We are looking to develop our postgraduate offerings based on our areas of expertise and those of our new appointments.
