Hull University Business School - Professor in Finance

About this job
Providing leadership and direction within Hull University Business School (HUBS), this is an opportunity to use your experience and stature to attract external research funding and further develop our global reputation. HUBS is in a period of expansion and we seek to appoint a Professor in Finance to contribute in a variety of ways to research, learning and teaching. In return, we will support your pursuit and development of further innovative, high-quality and profile-raising research.

At HUBS, we develop people and practices for a fast-changing global business environment. We are also one of only 1% of business schools in the world to hold the prestigious 'Triple Crown' of accreditations from EQUIS, AACSB and AMBA – all of which makes this an exciting time to be a part of the school. Always ambitious, our staff are central to our continued achievements, and this is your chance to join the team.

From day one, you will be committed to achieving our strategic ambitions, enhancing our reputation for research-led learning and connected thinking. Overseeing research projects within the Centre for Empirical Finance and Banking (CEFB), you will play a significant role in this forum for finance and banking research. CEFB’s mission is to promote high-calibre academic research and foster teaching to an exceptional standard. We welcome your application if you have a relevant PhD, can evidence research leadership, a strong publications record, impact of research, and have a proven track record of securing research grants.
