Fees cover attendance at the meeting, documentation, meals and refreshments, but do NOT include hotel accommodation. Hotel fees are to be paid directly to the hotel (please refer to the Hotel Information Section further down for more details).

Cancellation Policy for Registrations:
Cancellations must be confirmed in writing. If MOMENTUM, the EFMD Conference Secretariat receives notice of your withdrawal before 14 March 2014, a cancellation administrative fee of 75€ will be charged. Thereafter, we regret that we are unable to refund any fees. However, in such cases substitutes are welcome at no extra cost as long as EFMD receives notification of the name, title and address of the substitute.

 

4. Accommodation

RESOTEL has been appointed as the official accommodation agent for the 2014 EFMD MENA Conference. RESOTEL is a free independent hotel reservation services working with a various range of hotels at very competitive conditions.

Hotel & Room Rates
Special rates are available through Resotel at Mogador Menara by Golden Tulip (Avenue Mohammed VI - Marrakech – Maroc). 

Bus Transfers will be organized to / from this hotel to the conference venue / dinner venue (please see “Getting to / from the hotel”) 

Rates

  • Single room: 770 MAD
  • Double room: 880 MAD
  • (City Tax of 28.60 MAD per room per night is excluded from the room rate) 

Hotel Booking

Cancellation free of charge till Wednesday 12th March 2014. After that date full charge. The quoted rates are in MAD (moroccan dirham), per room, per night, including breakfast & services. Payments for all room bookings are to be settled with the hotel directly upon departure. Valid credit card details must be given when making your booking request in order to guarantee and secure your reservation.

Rooms are available upon a first comes, first served bases. Initial booking deadline is set on Wednesday 12th March 2014. Late subscribers will be provided the best available rate.

A typical Moroccan dinner will take place in HEM on the Sunday 13 April 2014 and will include entertainment with:

  • An Andalou Musician

The dinner on the Monday 14 April 2014 will take place in the Mystical restaurant “Dar Sukkar” and will provide an authentic Moroccan experience with entertainment.

On Monday, 14 April 2014 several traditional Moroccan experiences / activities will be available for the participants at HEM, including:

8. CurrencyTop
The official currency of Morocco is the Moroccan Dirham, denoted as MAD or Dhs. The Moroccan Dirham is composed of 100 centimes; notes are available in denominations of (Dhs) 200, 100, 50, 25, 20 and (very rarely now) 10 and coins are available in denominations of (Dhs) 10, 5, 2 and 1, or 50, 20, 10 and 5 centimes. There are 4 types of 5 Dirham coin in circulation and 3 types of 10 Dirham coins.
