Aim: Conclusions of the chairperson asking representatives of each of the 3 groups (1-International Relations, 2- Alumni Relations, 3-PR, Marketing & Communication) to share with the group 4-5 central themes that came up during the conference, with an emphasis on take-aways and 2-3 key things each group picked up that are useful for their particular role.

Aim: Each conference participant has the opportunity to invite their alumni to join the evening, enabling them to connect with their old school and meet new people in the city.
The Guest speaker for the Alumni evening will be Dan Pontefract; he is the author of FLAT ARMY: Creating a Connected and Engaged Organization. He also holds the role of Chief Envisioner of TELUS Transformation Office where he helps organizations and leaders looking to improve employee engagement, leadership development and organizational culture.

Arriving at Vancouver International Airport (YVR)

By taxi: 30-40 minutes depending on traffic

By Canada Line (SkyTrain): 26 minutes.
The YVR-Airport station is centrally located between our International and Domestic Terminals. Cost: $4.00 (2 Zone Fare) + $5.00 Canada Line YVR AddFare (one way). The nearest stop to the hotel is Vancouver Centre Station. From the station, there are two walking routes:
Follow the escalators towards West Georgia Street. Leave the station, turn left and proceed to the intersection. The hotel is located directly across the street.
During mall operating hours you may remain underground and proceed to the Pacific Centre Mall. The entrance to Pacific Centre will be on your immediate left after heading up the escalators from the platform level. Follow the mall corridor until you reach the second set of escalators. Go up to the next level. The entrance to the hotel lobby will be on your left.

By car: 30-40 minutes depending on traffic
Leave the airport and follow Grant McConachie Way (this leads onto the Arthur Laing Bridge and eventually into Granville Street)
Continue north along Granville Street and cross the Granville Street Bridge
Stay in the right lane and take the Seymour Street exit
After eight blocks turn left onto Dunsmuir Street
After two blocks turn left onto Howe Street
The hotel is immediately on the left just after the mall parking entrance

INDIVIDUAL CANCELLATION POLICY: 25 February 2015
Cancellations must be confirmed in writing. If MCI EFMD Conference Secretariat receives notice of your withdrawal before 25 February 2015, a cancellation administrative fee of 75€ will be charged. Thereafter, we regret that we are unable to refund any fees. However, in such cases substitutes are welcome at no extra cost as long as EFMD receives notification of the name, title and address of the substitute.

Please note that the list of participants is printed 10 working days before the event (on 11 March 2015). If you register after that date your contact details will not be included in the list. Also note that if we haven't received your payment (or proof of payment) before the list is printed (on 11 March 2015), your contact details will not be included in that list.
