Participants will receive all conference materials and other necessary information at the registration desk.
Registration for the EFMD Quality Services Seminar covering EQUIS, EPAS and EDAF will take place at 08:30 – 09:00 (only for participants registered for the seminar)

Fees cover attendance at the meeting, documentation, meals and refreshments, but do NOT include hotel accommodation. Hotel fees are to be paid directly to the hotel.
There is only one (1) Registration form for both the seminar and the conference. However, it is possible to register only for the conference or only for the seminar.
CANCELLATION POLICY FOR REGISTRATIONS
Cancellations must be confirmed in writing. If MOMENTUM, the EFMD Conference Secretariat receives notice of your withdrawal before 14 March 2013, a cancellation administrative fee of 75€ will be charged. Thereafter, we regret that we are unable to refund any fees. However, in such cases substitutes are welcome at no extra cost as long as EFMD receives notification of the name, title and address of the substitute.
4. Getting to & from HotelTop
There are two options for accommodation for the EFMD Conference in the MENA Region:
Option 1 (preferred option):
Traders Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi, is conveniently located between the two bridges of Al Maqta and Mussafah leading into Abu Dhabi, Capital of the United Arab Emirates. It is and is situated along a picturesque beachfront.
The hotel is a 10-minute drive from Abu Dhabi International Airport.
Reaching the hotel from the Abu Dhabi Airport:

Local metered taxis are available upon arrival. The one-way journey takes approximately 15 minutes.
Driving Direction
Driving Directions from Abu Dhabi International Airport to Traders Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi:
- Follow signs to Abu Dhabi for 20km
- Follow signs to Abu Dhabi/ Mussafah Bridge
- After the 2nd ADNOC gas station, move to right hand lane
- Follow the signs to Mangrove Village
- Turn right on 3rd Street
- Turn left at the roundabout and go over the blue bridge
- Turn left at the next roundabout and continue driving straight - the creek should be on your left
- Drive straight through the next 4 roundabouts
- Approaching the 4th roundabout, Traders Hotel will be seen on the left. Take the immediate exit on the right to enter the hotel lobby area.

From the hotel to Abu Dhabi University
Bus transfers will be organized between the Traders Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi and the Abu Dhabi University. More precise information about the time of the transfers will be available soon.

6. Hotel Payment & RatesTop
The following selection of hotels is available for attendees of the 2013 EFMD MENA Conference, available during the above-mentioned event. All other dates are upon request and subject to hotels’ availability.
The quoted rates are in UAE dirham, per room, per night and including breakfast. Rate given are subject to 10% service charge and 6% muncipality fees.
Payments for all room bookings are to be settled with the hotels directly upon departure. Valid credit card details must be given when making your booking request in order to guarantee and secure your reservation.
Rooms are available upon a first comes, first served bases. Initial booking deadline is set on February 13th, 2013. Late subscribers will be provided the best available rate if the hotel is still available.
The hotel categories are the official classification. In case none of these hotels do meet your budget expectations, do not hesitate to contact RESOTEL for any alternative suggestion.

The dinner on the Monday 15 April will take place at Shangri La Abu Dhabi, at walking distance from the Traders Hotel.
8. VISATop
If you need an invitation letter for your visa application, please contact Mieke AKKERS at Mieke@momentum-pco.be who will provide you with the invitation letter (please note that we can provide you with this letter only upon receipt of registration payment).
Citizens of Australia, Andorra, Austria, Brunei, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Monaco, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, San Marino, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States of America and the Vatican State can get a free-of-charge entry visa upon arrival at Abu Dhabi International Airport.
GCC citizens do not need a visa to enter the UAE.
Citizens of all other countries will need to apply for a Tourist, Transit or Visit Visa prior to their trip. If you are flying with Etihad Airways, a visit visa may be arranged for you upon request. If you have booked your trip through a travel agency, in most cases they will be able to arrange this for you.
Five, four and three star hotels can apply for visas on behalf of guests who have booked a stay with them. Please note that not all five, four and three star hotels have this system in place. Make sure you check with your preferred hotel if they offer this service. This service does not currently apply to guests staying in hotel apartments
While the airline, travel agency and hotel can apply for your visa, please make sure you give yourself enough time for it to be approved, and note that they do not take responsibility if the visa is declined.
Otherwise, you will need to apply for a visa through your nearest UAE embassy. An eye scan will be required at the airport.

9. CurrencyTop
The local currency is the UAE dirham (AED or Dhs) which is divided into 100 fils.
The exchange rate is approximately (rate in November 2012):
1€ = 4.74920 AED
1USD = 3.67304 AED
Credit and debit cards are widely accepted. Foreign currencies and travellers' cheques can be exchanged in licenced exchange offices, banks and hotels, a passport is required. Personal cheques can be a bit trickier and many places won't accept them. If you're shopping in the souks (markets) or in smaller shops, cash is the best option.
