| 10:30 – 11:30 | Plenary I – Plenary I – Ensuring impact: Framing the business challenges Aim: How consistent are providers and clients in analyzing, describing and documenting the business challenge which lies at the basis of the development request ? This session, starting from the Excellence in Practice award winning cases, explores the current practices in the initial partnering or ‘contracting’ stage of an L&D intervention. How is ownership of the business challenge and involvement of stakeholders guaranteed at the client side, which expertise do providers typically bring to the table during this initial stage, how complete and impact oriented are the initial agreements (committed deliverables, operational parameters, intended impact) ? In a plenum with business schools and alternative providers combined with corporate representatives mutual expectations and possible improvements are discussed. |

This session, again based on Excellence in Practice cases, explores current practices and evolutions in the rollout of L&D initiatives. Which is the typical distribution of roles between the corporate L&D organisation and the provider and how are both parties kept aligned throughout the deployment of L&D initiatives, and how are the initiatives (programme structure, content, methods, etc.) kept in line with the evolving business challenges and expectations of key stakeholders at the client side, which is the key value providers bring to the table at this stage (their role as an integrator for instance, customization challenge, etc.). Again business schools, alternative providers and corporate representatives discuss experiences, expectations and evolving practices. |

Cancellation policy date: 4 September 2012
Cancellations must be confirmed in writing. If Momentum EFMD Conference Secretariat receives notice of your withdrawal before 4 September 2012, a cancellation administrative fee of 75€ will be charged. Thereafter, we regret that we are unable to refund any fees. However, in such cases substitutes are welcome at no extra cost as long as EFMD receives notification of the name, title and address of the substitute.
