Excellence in Practice

The EFMD Excellence in Practice Award attracts case studies describing an effective and impactful Learning and Development intervention. These programmes can be deployed by an organisation (company, public sector, charity etc..) either together with their inhouse L&D organisation or with an external L&D provider.

The specific Learning and Development domain in which the intervention is situated can be:

  • Leadership Development
  • Professional Development
  • Talent Development
  • Organisation Development

All partners must act as a team and contribute to the case study to ensure a balanced view.

Submission is free if at least one of the applicants is an EFMD member organisation. A small administration fee of 300 Euro will be charged for non-members applicants.

Winning cases will be featured extensively across the EFMD network and published in the Emerald Group Publishing "Strategic Direction" journal.

Next deadline for submission of full papers: Spring 2013 (date tbc)

Winners 2012

The names of the 2012 EiP winning cases will be announced in July 2012.

The Award Ceremony and presentation of winning cases will take place during the EFMD Executive Education Conference on 3-5 October 2012 (San Telmo, Spain).

Come and join us with your clients and/or L&D providers to discuss about "Partnering for Impact: New Business Models for Executive Education". 

Global Focus Special Supplement on the Excellence in Practice Award 2011 (Volume 05 - Issue 03 2011).

Provides the executive summaries of the winning and highly commended cases of 2011 as well as observations and trends from all cases submitted.
