The GFME is a joint venture of the two leading and most recognized global management education associations:
The European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) and The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International). Combined, their network includes more than 1200 business schools worldwide.
- The latest project of the GFME is the publication of the report From Challenge to Change: Business Schools in the Wake of Financial Crisis - Essays from GFME Board Members.
Management education and development should not and will not be exempt from change – its course is being altered right now by leaders around the globe. This short volume presents papers written by deans and directors from the UK, Canada, USA, Poland, Spain and Thailand, as well as the directors and presidents of the world's leading business school accreditation bodies.
- The first project of the GFME was the publication of the Global Guide to Management Education 2006.
This survey of business and management education in over 50 countries, represents a first step towards developing appropriate business and management education provision for the 21st century. Updated editions of the Global Guide, with additional country profiles and revised information, will be available to access on an annual basis.
- The second project was the publication of the Global Management Education Landscape: Shaping the Future of Business Schools
The Global Management Education Landscape begins by identifying important global economic and business trends, as well as recent developments in management education. This insight then leads us to explore the possible implications of these trends on business schools in every region of the world, and to provide five recommendations that can help shape the future of management education.
