Fee Structure

This fee schedule covers new applications submitted between 1 January and 31 December 2012 or accredited institutions starting the re-accreditation process between those dates. The fee schedule at the time of the
(re-) application remains valid throughout that cycle of the School’s accreditation process.

Application Fee € 5,950

Invoiced on receipt of application and must be paid by the date of the EPAS Committee in order to be presented for eligibility. For accredited programmes, due at the time of starting the re-accreditation process.

 Review Fee
Review of first programme (set) € 12,750
Review of additional programme (set) € 3,400

Due 30 days before the programme is due to be presented to the EPAS Accreditation Board for (re-)accreditation.

 Accreditation Fee
1st programme € 850 / year € 2,550 / 3 years € 4,250 / 5 years
2nd programme € 850 / year € 2,550 / 3 years € 4,250 / 5 years

The accredited schools have 2 options regarding payment of the accreditation fee:

Option 1

  • The above amount can be paid in annual instalments of € 850 (or € 1,700 when 2 programmes have been accredited) each year no later than 30 days after the date on which the Accreditation Board conferred the EPAS label.

Option 2

  • The above amount can be paid at once no later than 30 days after the date on which the Accreditation Board conferred the EPAS label.
As an example of the fee structure, accreditation for 5 years of one set of Masters programmes would cost € 22,950 whereas two programme sets would cost € 30,600.

In exceptional cases the EPAS Committee may ask an EPAS expert to conduct a Briefing Visit to the applicant Institution. The Institution will have to cover the travel, accommodation and other direct expenses of the expert and pay an administrative fee of € 1,000.

EXPENSES
Travel, lodging and other direct expenses are to be paid by the Institution.

Peer Reviewers will be asked to keep intercontinental travel below € 6,000. If the estimated cost exceeds this amount, prior approval must always be sought from the School, copying the EPAS Office.

CANCELLATION, POSTPONEMENT AND LATE PAYMENTS
Should the School decide to cancel or postpone the Peer Review Visit (PRV), the School will be liable for any non-refundable costs incurred by the Peer Reviewers at that time.

Any School requesting a cancellation or re-scheduling of a PRV in the current year will be charged a fee of € 1,500 to cover the administrative expenses for cancelling or rescheduling the visit should this occur more than 6 months in advance of the planned PRV date. A fee of € 5,000 will be charged should this occur within less than 6 months from the scheduled PRV date.

In order to advance in the accreditation process, a School must be up to date in all its payments.
