These Seminars are offered sequentially, giving participants the opportunity to register for one or both events.

  • Interpretation and practical application of the Standards and Criteria
  • Understanding the key stages of the accreditation processes
  • Preparing an effective Self-Assessment Report and Peer Review Visit
  • Presentation of the EPAS & EQUIS documents

Target group
The seminars are targeted at institutions considering applying for EPAS or EQUIS accreditation, those holding active eligibility or accredited schools wishing to get a better understanding about the system. They will be relevant for Deans and Directors, Associate Deans, Directors of major programmes, Directors of External Relations and Accreditation Officers.  Peer Reviewers are encouraged to attend as well, in order to receive an update on the most recent developments within the EFMD accreditations.

1. Venue and Welcome at the meeting
Participants will receive all seminar materials and other necessary information at EFMD, rue Gachard 88, 1050 Brussels, 4th floor, on

  • Tuesday, 17 January 2012 at 09:00 for the EPAS Accreditation Seminar;
  • Wednesday, 18 January 2012 at 09:00 for the EQUIS Accreditation Seminar.

2. Participation Fee

Fees cover attendance to the seminar(s), documentation, meals and refreshments, but do NOT include hotel accommodation. Hotel fees are to be paid to the different hotels upon departure (please refer to the hotel information section below for more details)

3. Cancellation policy Top



Cancellations must be confirmed in writing. If we receive notice of your withdrawal before 3 January 2012,
a cancellation administrative fee of 90,75€ (75€ + 21% VAT) will be charged. Thereafter, we regret that we are unable to refund any fees. However, in such cases, substitutes are welcome at no extra cost as long as EFMD receives notification of the name, title and address of the substitute.

  • Participants who register for the EPAS Accreditation Seminar are invited to the networking dinner on Monday, 16th January 2012. Meeting point will be the Hotel Lobby of the Four Points by Sheraton at 19:15 on Monday, 16 January.

  • Participants who register for the EQUIS Accreditation Seminar are invited to join the networking dinner on Tuesday, 17th January 2012. Meeting point will be the Hotel Lobby of the Four Points by Sheraton at 19:15 on Tuesday, 17 January.

  • Participants who register to attend both Seminars are invited for both dinners.
