High touch: Self Leadership in a changing world
In an ever changing and high tech world, the need for clarity and authenticity is essential. How can we strengthen our self-leadership to increase the feeling of being in the driver’s seat, not just being a passenger in our life? Welcome to an interactive workshops where you get to reflect upon your own values and self-leadership as well as discuss the implications for your students and career center.

  • Hannah Larsson, Career Service and Corporate Relations, University of Gothenburg, SE

Career Services Engagement
Increasingly student and alumni expectations are that they will be able to capitalize on their education and pivot to a new industry, function or both, coupled in many cases with the aspiration of achieving international mobility. Often times we believe we are doing so many things to help our student/alumni stakeholder connect with the corporations and organizations, yet we are not always taking the time to properly communicate and market the services through the appropriate channels. We will share details of the initiatives that IE has employed to manage expectations and support job search outcomes. This will be followed by a group discussion on what we really need and which initiatives are likely to have the greatest impact.

Plenary II: Experiencing Gamification
Gamification as a concept has garnered a lot of attention over the last few years with a plethora of various forms and iterations being made commercially available; to assist or facilitate certain business processes, with engagement always being at the epicenter. However not many of these applications actually deliver on their purpose...but why? In this workshop, Owiwi will be carrying out an interactive session to explore the dynamics behind what makes Gamification work; and how to build better systems that can provide the desired outcome more effectively.
