EFMD EPAS accreditated schools 2016

We are happy to announce that the EPAS accreditation has been recently awarded to four new programmes from three new countries: Colombia, Spain & South Korea. Currently more than 100 programmes are accredited by EPAS across 34 countries worldwide!

The following four programmes from three new Institutions have been recently recognised by EPAS quality label:
"We celebrate being the first two Programmes from Colombia and Latin America that have obtained EPAS accreditation from the EFMD. For the International School of Economic and Administrative Sciences – EICEA – and its Programmes, this high quality recognition from a European organisation as the EFMD represents, is an achievement that will significantly contribute to consolidate our standing among Faculties and Business Schools in the region. Furthermore, it will allow us to improve our cooperation with highly qualified partners all over the world, a fact that will encourage the development of our whole academic community: faculty, students, and administrative staff. We are looking forward to sharing our experience in the accreditation process with Colombian and Latin-American academic community, expecting that more educational institutions decide to assume this challenge. The objective report and recommendations that we received from the Peer Review Team, represent a consistent input and a good support to accelerate our improvement plans with an even stronger commitment to deliver high quality education for the benefit of society."
Prof. Hilda Arango, Dean, International School of Economic and Administrative Sciences, Universidad de la Sabana, Colombia

"All of our faculty at Ajou School of Business are delighted that our undergraduate program is awarded EPAS accreditation. We feel proud that it is the first EPAS accreditation in South Korea. EPAS accreditation is a truly international endorsement of quality business education. It would surely help us expand our global education networks, and strengthen our drive for globalized business education. The accreditation process has been a valuable experience to us, and we believe that it will guide us to continuously improve our program in the future. I would like to appreciate the dedication and support of our faculty, staffs, students, and alumni in this whole successful accreditation process so far. Also I would like to thank EFMD and the peer review team for their works and suggestions."
Prof. Bong H. Han, Dean, School of Business, Ajou University, South Korea

“ESIC Business & Marketing School is honoured to have achieved the EPAS accreditation for its International MBA and Master in Marketing Management. The accreditation process has helped us to strengthen these two programmes and also we have used this experience to cross-fertilise different areas of the School, offering thus a better experience to our students. We plan to continue in this pathway of growth and continuous improvement now that this important milestone has been reached. We want to take this opportunity to thank the EFMD and the Peer Review Team for their support during the process”.
Mr. Simon Reyes, President, ESIC Business and Marketing School, Spain

Programme accreditation from EFMD is one of the most effective ways to certify the quality of a programme in the field of business and management. The EPAS accreditation process involves an extensive self-assessment, a visit of an international peer review team and a very experienced jury evaluating the assessment and findings of the peer review team to determine whether the programme should be granted accreditation. Accreditation is about excellence and continuous quality improvement linked to the strategy, vision and leadership of the School. It is also forward looking and helps a School to set a quality agenda for the future.

The following programmes were successfully re-accredited:
“The reaccreditation was welcome recognition of the commitment to offering students a quality education with an international outlook, enabled by cutting edge technologies. Continuing to have the EFMD accreditation shows that we deliver on our promises and will reassure our students, potential students and industry that our programs really are of a global standard. The reaccreditation is just reward for the work of the Deakin Business School to continuously improve the quality of its education, research and community engagement. Continuous improvement must be a mantra in any business school that seeks to be globally competitive. Our challenge is to continue to improve all that we do to build on our competitive position on the global stage, a challenge that we welcome and are well placed to achieve.”
Prof. Mike Ewing, Executive Dean, Faculty of Business and Law, Deakin University, Australia

“We are delighted to receive the full five-year EPAS accreditation for our MSc in Business Engineering. This recognition reinforces HEC Liège’s reputation for quality, as our entire portfolio of management courses at masters and doctoral level has achieved EPAS accreditation. These accreditations particularly reflect the success of HEC Liège’s internationalisation strategy, which is based on high-quality international partnerships.”
Prof. Adrian Hopgood, Dean, HEC Management School, Université de Liège, Belgium

“MBS is very honored by the re-accreditation. We would like to thank the PRT for their time and very valuable feedback. The EFMD standards are at the backbone of our continued quality improvement process. Many thanks also to the EFMD teams for their ongoing assistance and support at all stages of the audit.”
Dr. Didier Jourdan, Director, Montpellier Business School, France

Prof. David Asch, Director, Quality Services & EPAS Director, commented: We are delighted to welcome three new Institutions from three new countries across three different continents into the EPAS community. Business Schools from Colombia, South Korea and Spain join the community of over one hundred EPAS accredited programmes and this milestone allows us to look positively into the future development of quality management education. I would like to also congratulate the re-accredited schools for their continuous improvement."

EPAS was launched in 2005 and in more than 10 years has had a considerable impact on the quality of business schools programmes all over the world. As of February 2016, 101 accredited programmes from 74 institutions across 34 countries have been awarded EPAS accreditation.
